Pastor John Neufeld delivers his final sermon before retiring after 10 years at Northgate Baptist Church. His message is about faith, hope and love and how it ties into our perspectives on time. 1 Cor 13:13
We are currently in a post Easter series called Developing a culture of Outreach, and we have gone through the different steps that Jesus took after His resurrection to equip his followers to GO out into the world to make disciples of all nations. In the first one, Pastor Bob showed us how after the resurrection, Jesus transformed the lives of His followers by giving them everything they need, and by restoring them from their past failures, doubts, and pain. The second week he showed that in order to develop a culture of outreach we need to understand what the Kingdom of God is, and he showed us that Jesus frequently spoke about His Kingdom, and that we need to do the same. Last week Pastor Bob showed us how Jesus empowered His disciples by giving them the Holy Spirit.
